Energy Healing with Chinese Medicine
Healing is about embracing every facet of your being - body, mind, heart, and soul - and forging a deeper connection with your own experience. It's about reclaiming agency, empowering yourself to address challenges, and nurturing a sense of self-care. My purpose is to walk alongside you, offering gentle support and encouragement as you navigate towards equilibrium and healing.
Acupuncture emerges as a subtle yet potent tool in this journey towards holistic wellness. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it offers a natural and non-invasive means to diagnose and treat, while enhancing overall well-being. By restoring harmony within the body and awakening its inherent healing intelligence, acupuncture paves the way for profound transformation.
What sets acupuncture apart is its ability to detect subtle imbalances within the body long before they manifest as symptoms, making it not just a remedy, but a powerful form of preventive care. Through a series of treatments, complemented by herbal remedies and supplements, acupuncture gently guides the body back into alignment, alleviating the accumulated stresses of modern life and fostering a renewed sense of vitality.
Conditions Treated
Acupuncture involves the placement of very thin needles on certain points on the body that lie along energetic pathways, also known as meridians. These needles can be used to help stimulate the body’s innate healing capacity & treat numerous conditions.

Getting Started
In your first appointment, we will begin our journey by talking about your present symptoms and medical history and your specific needs and concerns and health goals . I aim to uncover the root causes of your discomfort and together we’ll come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs and abilities. I then strive to make every one of your treatments as effective as possible while also offering a pleasant and rejuvenating experience.
The acupuncture gently manipulates the ‘Qi/Chi ‘or life energy removing blockages in the energy pathways /or meridians . This not only results in easing one’s physical distress but also releases underlying emotional blockages in a gentle way which allows for a deeper connection with one’s own sense of being.
A kindness towards oneself naturally arises which in itself is a powerful aid in healing. Our cellular memory and our innate knowing recognizes the natural state of wellness.
A serene environment with a quiet natural acoustic background as well as the “energy’’ that I bring to the treatment, all contribute to the healing process. The gentle hands-on touch I give before the treatment helps facilitate relaxation and easing into the acupuncture session. Needling is very gentle and patients feel a pleasant sense of releasing tensions and opening into a deeper sense of letting go. . . They often drift into a healing sleep or a spacious “floating”.
After the session, patients generally experience a peacefulness that is more in harmony with our human condition which can mean a genuine softening and gratitude for things as they are. Patients go back into the world with renewed strength and confidence.

How do I serve the community? By serving myself.
How do I serve myself? By serving the community.
This understanding resonates with me.
Chinese herbal medicine is a tradition thousands of years old, in which herbs enhance one's health and vitality. As opposed to Western medicine, the foundation of this approach is to support the body's natural self-healing mechanisms and abilities.
Since each patient has different needs, I carefully select and combine a variety of herbs that will synergistically blend together to achieve optimal results for your unique situation. I prescribe high-quality, professional-grade herbal medicines that are available only through qualified licensed professionals.
“Coming back into coherence with your natural energy ~ healing happens by itself.”
I was raised in Germany and worked as a teacher in Hamburg before traveling extensively in India. During this period, I devoted significant time to meditation retreats, which prepared me for my life-long work with the Diamond Approach. It is a spiritual teaching and practice that embraces life and is enriching my work with clients with a profound sense of meaning and gratitude. Coming to California, I embarked on a career as a massage practitioner, which led me to pursue a degree in Chinese Medicine at Five Branches University, in Santa Cruz, CA, graduating in 1992. I further enriched my education with a three-month internship at a teaching hospital in Hangzhou, China, where I apprenticed in various medical departments. This phase of my career provided an advanced educational experience by allowing me to study under esteemed masters and I developed a passion for prescribing Chinese herbal formulas and witnessing their profound impact improving patients' health.
